The Transformers 1 and 2 were created for the people who grew up watching the cartoons, and when we watch them, we are taken back to our childhoods. There is nothing wrong with a movie that is out there just for that reason, or for "eye-candy". Most of your summer flicks are made for that purpose. I find it sad that all the critics that are reviewing these movies have never seen the cartoons as children, so they don't really get it. But it's not that important...as my mother always says, "If the critics hate it, you know it's a good show." Maybe these critics watch a different version to normal movie goers. I'm even contemplating going to see it again before it comes out on dvd and I'm getting it then so I can watch it some more. All you do is bitch and complain. I thought it was much better than the first and yes it did have a plot and I enjoyed the jokes as did every person around me. It isn't real so grow up and just enjoy it, maybe if we do ever get invaded by alien robots hopefully devastor will suck up the critics first.....because he will be full of bullshit then.
